Earning your accounting certificate online

An online accounting certificate or continuing education in Ontario can be a very valuable non-degree credential that can help you prepare for different career goals in the accounting field. Earning your bachelor’s in accounting certificate online in Canada requires some specialized training. The best way to get your general degree is to enroll in a master’s degree program. For your advanced degrees, however, you may consider on-campus programs or distance learning. Online learning programs typically award a higher median annual salary than on-campus programs, so if that’s what you’re interested in, then online is probably your best bet. There are lots of opportunities for graduates to find jobs in accounting offices nationwide.

With a high school diploma or the equivalent, you’ll be able to get entry-level accounting jobs fairly easily. Some employers may require a higher degree, though.
